Behind the scenes at Tia Starr Studios

We had a special workshop event painting at the Hulile’e Palace on Jan 7 . This was an advanced workshop that taught “plien air”, the impressionists style of painting on site, focusing on light , composition, and mood. We all had different viewpoints and painted in sketch, darks lights and details. I will soon be creating a fundraiser paint party to paint from a stencil at the palace, as well as a watercolor plien air workshop. Please join Tia’s starving artists Ohana group on FB to get first notice of events, lots of video demos and ideas,  insiders art quotes, and local arts info.
